The VIS Security Device is designed to be a deterrent to vehicle theft, but it will not guarantee that a vehicle will be absolutely theft-proof. It will not protect the vehicle from any damage that may occur during an attempted break-in such as: broken glass, body damage or interior damage including and not
limited to, steering column. However, by making theft much more difficult, time consuming and virtually impossible to start the vehicle, the VIS Device can significantly reduce the likelihood that a vehicle will be stolen.
